CUEVAS MEDEK EXERCISES®
Created by Ramón Cuevas in 1972, Cuevas Medek Exercises® or CME® therapy is a manual therapy for children suffering from neuromotor development disorders caused by any lesions or deficiencies of the central nervous system. Through specific exercises, CME® therapy seeks to provoke new automatic brain responses of genetic origin by exposing the child to the natural force of gravity through the use of progressive distal grips. By addressing the challenges necessary for the child's neuromotor progression, CME® therapy stimulates the cerebral organization of their motor functions while combating cerebral immaturity.
Being a therapist and instructor certified by Ramón Cuevas at levels I, II, III and IV at the CME Center in Santiago, Chile , Aurélien MUGUET practices therapy as it was transmitted to him during his many years of training with him.
We offer consultations year-round, primarily in the form of intensive sessions as well as weekly follow-ups. We also offer official CME® training at levels I, II, and III, as well as internships and refresher courses for therapists. Registration is via the office at

We are available to answer your questions or provide any additional information.

PRINCIPLES OF CME® THERAPY

Provocation of new automatic brain responses of genetic origin.
Gradual exposure of the child to the natural force of gravity.
Use of progressive distal grips.
Active stretching is incorporated during the treatment
Hypertonia of the lower limbs is not an obstacle to therapy
The child's cooperation, understanding and motivation are not required, no instructions are given during treatment
Validation of the effectiveness of the method after a trial period
